This is one of two similar paddles crafted from a beautiful piece of Myrtlewood. Myrtlewood is found primarily on the Oregon coast and only a very few other places in the world. Each burn is different and each type of wood reacts differently depending on density, moisture content and other factors.

Each of our Burl paddles are obviously unique in looks. They are also unique in design. This piece features a long, tri-grip handle that has a slight curve to it. We have left just a bit of live edge on it. Rest assured it has all been sealed, sanded and finished to ensure no splinters will be transferred during use. All pine is considered a Softer Wood and as such will tend to pick up indentations over time. Burls are, by nature, inclined to natural inclusions. It is part of their beauty. 

Due only to the length of the handle, it should be more carefully used during heavy application. Or use a shorter grip.

The Stick has been Fractal Burned (aka Lichtenberg) and has deeper channels running through it as well as shallower channels that spider out. It has beeen sealed with polyurethane as has the sparkling red glitter inside the channels. 

The handle on this toy is long enough for any size hand. The girth may be best suited for medium to small hands, but can be held by most.
